Racism leads to 8 year olds getting shot in the face by white neighbors. It leads to 17 year olds getting shot in the chest, and their murderers walking free to perpetrate gun violence again. Racism leads to lynchings, houses set on fire and people being beaten to death. Racism leads to people not being hired for jobs they’re qualified for because they are black. It leads to people not getting interviews because their name SOUNDS black. It leads to lower wages, poverty and children being raised in school districts without sufficient resources due to poor income tax revenue. walking around in the skin of a person of color is a daily test of endurance.
Being accused of racism kind of makes you feel bad for a little bit. And then you go back to doing white-people things.
Bolded in agreement.
This is seriously how white people see it. Being “falsely accused” of racism is the same thing as racism. Even though most of what gets cited as “false accusations” are people using racial slurs but totally not meaning it in their heart. Or maybe benefiting from systematically suppressing people of color while thinking you didn’t really do anything.
Racism doesn’t just “suck”. It has oppressed and marginalized people for countless generations. And all of that past oppression informs where are now and all our present oppressions informs where we will go. It does a lot more than just “suck”.
And fuck the white person who made this by appropriating Charles Schulz’s work for their racism.

Special Collections toilet humor! Who doesn’t love a vintage pro-laxative-constipation-be-gone card for the children? Think of the children! On one side you see the world’s crankiest, most constipated baby, crying out to his beloved mother for support and guidance. Turn the card and you can watch the baby work out his sorrow via the power of sand plopping into a chamber pot! He smiles! He shouts out the good news to his mother! Happiness, thy name is unknown children’s laxative of 1904!

He told me he was an artist.
I asked what kind of art he made.
He said: “I do my own thing.”
I said: “What’s your thing?”
He said: “Doing my thing.”As I was walking away, his wife gave me his name. “Look him up,” she said. So I did.

"Andres Serrano (born August 15, 1950 in New York City) is an American photographer and artist who has become notorious through his photos of corpses and his use of feces and bodily fluids in his work, notably his controversial work "Piss Christ", a red-tinged photograph of a crucifix submerged in a glass container of what was purported to be the artist’s own urine." -Wikipedia
