Man, unpacking this photo would take me all of the day and quotes from at least two volumes of Franz Fanon, so for now I’m just going to note that I’m glad someone was out there documenting mid-century nightlife in Kinshasa before Mobutu really brought his boot down on everyone, because it seems like it was quite the party.
