The World Famous Crochet Museum is located at 61855 Highway 62 in Joshua Tree, California (just East of the Joshua Tree Saloon!)
From the website, I wasn’t sure what it was all about - was it a shop? A legitimate museum? Who made the items inside? Thankfully, some Yelp reviews stated it’s “an unbelievable collection of the crocheted items that were commonly (lovingly) done by your great aunt or grandma in the 70’s. Not only has Shari Elf preserved these artifacts , she has (lovingly) done so in a vintage trailer. The collection really transcends the definition of a “museum” but is, in actual fact, an installation art piece itself.” Another person said, “It is very small, as you can see, but it’s so worth the 5-10 minutes it takes to look at it.”
