A bit even further out than “lesser known” but the connection here for me is to the great Eddie Bo who produced, engineered and wrote this tune.  Mary Jane Hooper aka Sena Fletcher was a mere blip on the musical radar but I cherish the few might fine tunes she left us all from the Crescent City’s early funk scene…so early it’s really just mighty fine Soul to me thus making this the Saturday Got Soul selection from the Flimwell Papers Music Corner…don’t this just make you wanna dance or at least shuffle your feets in comfy slippers…..peace y’all!
