The guy on the local PBS was livetweeting Downton Abbey and they cut to him at the end of the episode AFTER A DISASTROUS SEASON FINALE so he could beg for people to become members and dude is all choked up
(Also his final tweet in the livetweet was just “Oh.”)
The PBS lady out here was not phased at all. “Isn’t Downton just so great!”
After that ending, PBS lady, I just don’t know.
She should have gushed over Carson’s babysitting skills.
