SIGNAL BOOST
This is my friend Mary and her cat, Padfoot. She rescued this little baby, and was originally given permission to keep him on her semi off-campus apartment. Since then, Padfoot has become essential to her mental health and overall well being.Unfortunately, things changed this weekend. Mary has been given 24 hours to relocate Padfoot, but she can’t find any place for him to stay. She is inconsolable because at this point, it looks like she will have to leave Padfoot at a shelter.
If there is anyone in Ferrum, VA area (or as far out as North Virginia and Greensboro, NC) that would be able to temporarily house Padfoot, we would be eternally grateful! I know a lot of you understand just how important companion animals are, especially to those who (like Mary) do not have a support network of friends or family.
Padfoot is a one-year old Maine Coon. He is healthy and up-to-date on all of his shots. He is very friendly and docile. He would also come with some basic supplies (litterbox, remaining food, ect).
