It’s only a small concession when someone leaves us but with a testament such as this and many other great songs left behind —- therein is a small consolation and the joy they will give is almost eternal! RIP Fontella Bass — this one is my favourite of her’s and one I mentioned when I interviewed her for In The Basement many years ago now! Oh how I loved her Gospel touches and her full Soul sound.
